Aventus 10J02 opens with a faint touch of lemon, but the real focus is its smoke, which comes through with an ashtray like character that makes the scent feel very bold and challenging. It is not the easiest batch to appreciate right away, since the smokiness has an acquired taste and leans more rugged than crowd pleasing. In the mid, the fragrance stays woody and smoky, then gradually softens into a creamy musk vanilla drydown that gives the batch a smoother and more comforting finish.
