Severo opens with a freshly cracked Coca Cola accord, rum and lime fizzing on top in a Cuba Libre cocktail effect. In the mid, smoky birch, davana, and black pepper temper the boozy sweetness, lending a green woody bitter edge that keeps it from going syrupy. The drydown is vanilla, white musk, and amber, smooth and dry. Refreshing, characterful, and surprisingly long after the cocktail opening.
